RE-Elect Aaron F Park CRA Sgt. At Arms

The Contract with the CRA is critical to the future of the CRA – if you want to stop consultant manipulation and endorsement fraud, join the Contract with the CRA.

It has been a privilege to be active in the CRA for years. I have served as a Unit President and as Your Sgt. At Arms since 2003.

·         As an Officer / President of the Placer CRA our unit is one of the 10 largest in the CRA despite serving a smaller area than most legitimate CRA Units

·         In 2004, we raised $41,000 – toppling a 20 year incumbent and his henchman from the Sierra College Board. (we also contributed to Karen England’s campaign for Roseville High School Board)

·         In 2010, we raised and spent $10,000 in support of a Republican Supervisorial candidate + defending the Placer CRA Majority on the Central Committee

·         Since 2003 – the Placer CRA has directly impacted the campaigns of 7 local Republican officeholders – including my Own Mother!I have been more than a Sgt at Arms. Effective leaders leave a legacy and the local elected officials that are in office in Placer as a result of the intervention of the Placer CRA tell the real story:

Linda M Park – Roseville Joint Union High School District
Suzanne Jones – Placer Board of Education
Eric Teed-Bose – Eureka Union School District
Diana Ruslin – Rocklin City Council
Aaron Klein – Sierra College Board
Scott Leslie – Sierra College Board
Melanie Eustice – Western Placer School District

In addition, we endorsed and supported Sam Cannon for City Council twice! You will recognize that name as he is running for CRA Voter Registration Secretary.

It was a privilege to co-author the Contract with the CRA as I am passionate about cleaning up the fraud in the CRA endorsement process.

Over the years – it has been quite a privilege working with fellow Conservatives, fellow Christians and friends in the CRA!

We’ve made an impact in Placer and I am honored to have your support to continue doing so!

Aaron F Park

Your CRA SGT at ARMS!

The following candidates support the Contract with the CRA and recognize the critical importance of reforming the CRA to ensure that we grow our membership, increase our strength while maintaining the integrity of the CRA – won’t you join the team?

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the blogs
Not an activist was stirring, not even a wonk.
The blogs were all posted by the writers with care,
In hopes that St Margaret soon would read theirs.
The writers were all nestled snug in their chairs,
While visions of dollar signs danced in their heads.
And Chip in his ‘kerchief, and Matt in his cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap.

When out on the internet there arose such a clatter,
Chip sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the computer he flew like a flash,
Tore open the browser to see what had past.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the luster of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to his wondering eyes should appear,
But a bomb throwers blog posts from throughout the year.

With a cadence, so lively and quick,
They knew in a moment it must be Sgt. York.
More rapid than eagles his lines of prose they came,
And he piled on with sentences that put politicians to shame!

“Now Cunnigham! now, Costigan! now, Schied and Bounds!
On, Pompeii! On, Stutzmann! , on Patterson and Hanlon!
To the top of Meg County, to the top of the all posts!
Now dash away York! Dash away! Dash away all!”

And then, in a twinkling, I heard in the office
The prancing and pawing of each little minion.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Into the office came St Margaret with a bound.

She was dressed all in fur, from her head to her foot,
And her clothes were all tarnished with blog posts, ashes and soot.
A bundle of cash she had flung on her back,
To hand out to all who would help her keep her campaign on track.

 She was miffed and unnerved,
And I knew when I saw her, how her mood got so sour!
A wink of her eye and a twist of her head,
Soon let me know Sgt York’s blog would be dead.

She spoke not a word, but went straight to her work,
And purchased Meg County, Chip, Matt, then turned with a jerk.
And laying her money on the table with care,
made sure Sgt York was no longer there!

She sprang back to her campaign, and to her team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard her exclaim, as she drove out of sight,
“Vote for me now or disappear in the night!”

Remember how the FPPC exhonerated the Placer County Republican Central Committee? Didn’t it seem odd that the Fresno and Stanislaus committee were not mentioned that much in any stories that ran all over the state until the FPPC finished their investigation?

The statewide media had help. The same person who shopped the stories about the Placer County Republican Central Committee’s non-scandal has turned his sights on Tom Hudson.

The agenda of Doug Elmets and the Sacramento Bee meet againthe template of the National Media is to Show a Divisive, mean Republican Party that clings to its’ Guns and Bibles. Elmets, because he has an axe to grind is a willing co-conspirator.

Enter Doug Elmets as Quoted by the Bee:

“I would not want to be in a position of debating him on any issue,” said Doug Elmets, a local political consultant who is not on the committee. “It would be exhausting. And no matter how right you think you are, he would declare victory.”

Elmets said Hudson should be careful not to let his passion get in the way.

“Sometimes those who are the most passionate lose their objectivity and ultimately become more controversial than constructive,” he said.

It is refreshing to see Doug Elmets come out of the shadows – It was Principle that carried the day for Tom McClintock in 2008 and it will be principle that will carry the day for Rick Keene in 2010. The significance of seeing Doug Elmets quoted in these articles is borne by what the reporter omitted:

Elmets’ main client is the United Auburn Indian Tribe. (The Auburn Tribe is viewed as amongst the most anti-Republican in the state) Doug Elmets is also active in re-assembling the same endorsement list for Doug LaMalfa that Liberal Millionaire Former Congressman Doug Ose had in 2008.

Now that Elmets is out in the open – let’s point out the absurdities of his friends in the Bee:

Hudson is not the only one that thinks Meg Whitman is a Democrat. (She campaigned for Boxer in 2004, gave wads to Enviro Groups, Supports Benefits for Non-Citizens, Supports Taxpayer Funded Abortion, etc…)

Peter Hill and Jim Holmes both have a history of supporting tax and fee increases which they were rightly criticized for. This fact is deliberately omitted by the Bee in their numerous stories attempting to portray Peter Hill and would-be Congressman Jim Holmes as victims.

The Placer Cent Com was a top performer in the dismal 2008 election cycle for registrations and because of technicalities had to wait until after the election was over to receive the bounty check from the California GOP.

There will be no attempt as the Bee alleges to unseat Tom Hudson – in fact, the criticism has only served to validate his leadership.

The Central Committee’s endorsement of Tom McClintock was a stunning counter-weight to the local electeds who rallied behind Liberal Millionaire Former Congressman Doug Ose in 2008.

And therein lies the rub.

That’s right. The blogosphere will never be the same. Recent events have caused George to come out of the supply depot and in to the front lines.

Local Government, State Government and those pushing agendas will never be the same.

Now- please note that the opinions expressed on this blog are not necessarily those of the California Republican Assembly, but they should be.
