He is a moderate Republican supervisor from the very conservative county of Madera. Madera is one of the top 5 most Republican Counties in California.

Bigelow is a tax-and-spend liberal who is in love with High Speed Rail. Public records show that love affair lasted for several years and numerous votes – now that the whole world knows that High Speed Rail is a train wreck, Bigelow now stands courageously opposed to it.

Bigelow’s morally flexible stands on taxation also include his very public opposition to Prop 26. Prop 26 was put on the ballot to prevent the loopholes the money-addicted leaders in the state legislature were using to raise taxes under other names. Prop 26 prevents “Fees” aka taxes by other names from being raised without a 2/3 vote of the State Legislature.

Maybe it is more appropriate to call Frank Bigelow a liberal?

It doesn’t stop there. Bigelow has a bizarre notion of history and some special comments on illegal immigration. In October at Mt. Brow Vineyard (in Sonora), in the presence of some 100 guests, a newspaper and a radio reporter – Bigelow asked “Who will pick these grapes?” in response to a question about illegal immigration.

Bigelow’s moral flexibility continued as he boldly stated, “You can’t build a fence to keep people out. Remember what Reagan said to Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

I’ve never heard Ronald Reagan invoked to rationalize illegal immigration, ever.

Frank Bigelow has distinguished himself in the annals of candidates I have seen over the 15 years I have been in this game… as a service to Bigelow, I’d like to remind him that the Berlin wall was built by communists to entrap the people of East Germany. A border fence is built to ensure that people enter the USA legally versus the Berlin Wall which was built to imprison the people of East Germany.

Frank Bigelow is just not ready for Prime-Time – let’s put him on a train to nowhere.

The man that went on a rampage after drubbing Rick Keene in the 2010 primary. I wrote mean things about him and made his mother cry. I later apologized… and then was made to feel like an idiot for apologizing.

On July 7th, 2011 – Doug LaMalfa attacked the Placer GOP on the front page – above the fold – in the Sacramento Bee. This forever solidified Doug LaMalfa’s place in the annals of idiots in Northern California politics. You don’t attack Republican volunteers – no matter how angry you are with them. This came a few months after I posted that public apology to Mr. LaMalfa for shredding him in the 2010 Primary.

No apologies will be forthcoming from this blogger again – and this is 100% on LaMalfa’s shoulders, amazing.

“I know many people on that committee who are good servants to the cause, but there are some there that are not really playing above board,” said Republican Sen. Doug LaMalfa of Richvale. “A lot of funny stuff (is) going on with where the money’s going or how many hands it’s going through before a check actually gets cut.”

The man who would be congressman accused Republican volunteers of felony embezzlement, money laundering and fraud. Brilliant.

It gets better – read the story and you’ll realize that he recruited Ted Gaines and Beth Gaines to participate in his mini-jihad. Ah hah, is it clear yet? The Gaines’ needed to cut a deal because of the new districts that were drawn. This is how it works in the world of the Gaines – when there is a perceived gain to be made, under the bus people go. Note – 15 months have gone by and the FBI still has not visited anyone. The FPPC investigation is now 18 months old – the complaint that was referenced in the article… and no contact from anyone in several months.

Interestingly – I have been getting anxious inquiry from political insiders as to why Linda is running against Beth Gaines and why I took Les Baugh on as a client.

Neither Les Baugh or Linda Park owe anyone an apology for running – Ted and Beth Gaines owe people an apology for the way they have governed.

And to think – the Gaines are renting a house in Rocklin, probably for just long enough to retain power if they are successful in getting re-elected. How does that make you feel as a voter? What kind of message does that send?

It’s not a matter of who is more conservative which is the easy-way-out cheapshot in a lot of Republican Primaries – as Les is a Pastor and Linda is a long-time CRA member.

Beth Gaines won’t be able to use a boogie man attack like she did against John Allard against Linda – where she lied about John Allard (standard faire in political attacks) and used his experience against him. (Linda, while in her first term on school board – ironically has been in office longer than Beth!)

The Gaines are going to have to stand up and defend the way they have governed and are also going to have to explain why a husband-and-wife political dynasty is a good thing for California. This is a double-loser for them.

The voters of AD-06 will now get to choose between a family dynasty or Accessible, Accountable citizen legislators.

The Duke of East Roseville is going to rent a throne in Rocklin to extend his reign over the new fiefdom he is seeking. Now the main throne room in East Roseville is untouched by this latest move as the children of the Duke and Duchess will remain and will be hosting several cordials and balls in the vacated palace.

The Serfs of the 1st Senate Fiefdom should not fret – the Duke of East Roseville will return to the palatial estate once the Duke has accomplished his mission. Then the serfs of the 1st Fiefdom will be unrepresented again as they have been used to since the Duke’s reign started.

Sam Aanestad is making phone calls to generate support for a run against Doug LaMalfa for Congress.

There is no truer friend to Conservatives in Northern California than Sam Aanestad. Sam supported his mentor, Tom McClintock for Congress when Doug LaMalfa and 100 local electeds chose the establishment Moderate over now Congressman McClintock.

Sam Aanestad was rated the most Conservative Senator in California the year before he retired from the State Senate in 2010.

Doug LaMalfa has serious issues with Conservative grass-roots over his involvement in the Charles Munger-led Republican Party Platform drill for starters. Doug LaMalfa’s staff was involved in the attempt by Charles Munger to eliminate Conservative issues such as Pro-Life, Pro Prop-8 and the Second Amendment from the platform.

Second, the attempted coronation of Doug LaMalfa by retiring Congressman Wally Herger has also riled feathers all over the North State.

I spoke directly with Senator Sam so this news is real.

“Garamendi does not fit this district,” he said. “This district needs someone who will represent farmers, military and small businesses.”

He’s not shy about where he comes from and how he wants the government to change.

“I am a Reagan Republican and believe in the principles of limited government and self reliance that made our nation great,” he said. “I am pro-life, pro 2nd Amendment and believe that local governments, not the huge fiscally irresponsible bureaucracies of the federal government, are best suited to solve our problems.”

“The federal government needs to do an about face,” he continued. “They need to restore fiscal responsibility. If the government had to earn their money, they would spend it more judiciously.”

When I read the op-ed – I was astounded as the verbage in it is clearly not that of Ted’s – suggesting that his CPU/Controller wrote it.

Once again the family dynasty leaves the serfs of SD-01 with the same leadership deficit that we have in AD-06.

Enter Beth Gaines : Republican lawmakers were roundly critical. “I was really looking forward to hearing some fresh ideas, some innovative ideas and some real leadership,” said Assemblywoman Beth Gaines, zero-Roseville. “Unfortunately, I didn’t hear that. … Raising taxes is not going to help our economy.”

The voters of AD-06 have been looking for anything, a return phone call, a complete sentence, anything…

The problem for Beth Gaines is that Jerry Brown’s speech was leadership – in the wrong direction, but it is in a direction… out of the broom closet and off a cliff. The Problem for Beth Gaines is that Dale Carnegie courses and John Maxwell books require personal application in order to take effect and a re-election campaign is an impossible venue for such an epiphany.

Please, someone file in AD-06. As we deserve Representation, not Coronation.

I have a soft-spot for Domino’s Pizza as I used to be able to toss a two-tray in less than 5 minutes and could even bust out a large Pepperoni in 41-45 seconds.

In a further blow to Rick Tubbs – fellow Solano County Resident Eugene Ray announced that he too is running. This puts 7 customers on the ballot for CA-03.

Eugene Ray was covered by the Fairfield Daily Repbulic – despite being denied an opportunity to speak at the Solano GOP Lincoln Day Dinner.

Eugene Ray is a Realitor and some sort of martial arts guru. I’d love to see him get the drop on a mannequin of John Garamendi.
