We told you so!
Red County Blog – the blog used by Karen England, her friends in the local movements and the like to attack Aaron ceaselessly over the last two years has a problem.
It’s founder – Chip Hanoln, the one who self-righteously threw Aaron off the Red County Blog for getting paid by Steve Poizner has been indicted for fraud.
We all knew that he was bought by Whitman (for $120,000 – so I guess he was a high-class whore), but this is the complete revelation of who he is.
Contrast this to Karen England’s jihad with no evidence and inuendo.
Quoting the article from an Orange County Blog:
The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed civil fraud charges against high-profile Orange County money manager and political activist Charles “Chip” Hanlon, alleging that Hanlon “vastly overstated” the size of his Delta Global Advisors financial advisory and the financial health of the business.
Hanlon is a frequent commentator on financial and political issues — including doing several interviews for this blog
Quoting some more of the article – it is dramatic irony regarding the team of people Karen has used in her jihad.
“In four filings, Delta claimed to manage between $656 million and $1.49 billion, when in reality Delta’s assets under management dropped as low as $9 million during this period. For nearly every period reflected in Delta’s (financial advisor) filings, Delta did not have $25 million or more in advisory assets under management and therefore was not eligible for Commission registration.”
I want to serve the CRA as Membership Secretary, because growing the CRA with dedicated grass roots activists should be our #1 goal. Like most of you, I want to see the CRA return to the days when we had countless thousands of members in large units all over the state of California, who influence candidates, make phone calls, walk precincts and make an impact for conservative principles in the California Republican Party.
I am sick and tired of those who seek to use the CRA like a political slot machine who’s lever is to be pulled whenever a candidate and their supporters want an endorsement.
Let me tell you the story of the Yorba Ranch RA – this “Unit” was chartered to send delegates to the 2007 Presidential Endorsing Convention by a current CRA Vice President.
It turns out that the Yorba Ranch Unit was one of several units that mysteriously appeared just before the CRA Presidential Endorsing Convention in 2007 and was one of several units that were chartered for the purpose of helping Mitt Romney get the CRA endorsement. For the first time I have been given evidence in the form of the unit roster from the CRA member that became the unit President in 2008. Below are the Yorba
Ranch members on the official roster for 2007-2008:
Dick & Linda Ackerman Irvine
Patrick & Robin Bole Lake Forest
Mark & Hanne Bucher Tustin
Keith & Amy Carlson Huntington Beach
(Keith indicated in an email he is a member of Huntington Beach RA!)
Paul & Nelda Haggard Laguna Woods
Marc & Christina Heins Lake Forest
Jim & Jonnie Hoover Tustin
Dale & Laura Phillips Orangevale * Paid in to 2007 Convention by Romney
Karen Shaw La Habra
Glenn & Donna Skene Santa Ana
Nadine West Fair Oaks * Paid in to 2007 Convention by Romney
Gina Zari Mission Viejo
William Shaw Yorba Linda
Sean-Paul Carrillo La Habra
Gordon & Marianne Sharp Whittier
Please note that Orangevale and Fair Oaks are 400+ miles away in Sacramento County!!!
According to the new President of that unit at the time (who is now President of the Brea-LaHabra Unit) almost all the people on the membership list had expired dues by the time he became president in 2008 (After Romney had been endorsed by CRA).
No wonder no one wants the membership rosters to be reviewed by CRA board members. And no wonder why those involved in this unethical activity are trying to stop our efforts to expose this the attempted hijacking of the CRA in 2011. There are at least 25 and maybe more “Yorba Ranches” out there that have submitted delegations to the upcoming CRA Convention.

Beth Gaines Announces Assembly Candidacy
ROCKLIN, CA — Conservative Republican Beth Gaines today announced that she will be a candidate in the upcoming Special Election in the 4th Assembly District.
“Since before Christmas, I have been overwhelmed with phone calls and words of encouragement from people who live in our area and who want me to run,” said Gaines. “It’s clear that the voters want to be represented by a conservative who is in touch with the concerns of our district. I know the people of this district, have a passion for them and share their concerns.”
“Our district wants and deserves a conservative representative who will oppose tax increases, shrink government and work to create opportunities for businesses to grow and create jobs,” Gaines said.
Beth Gaines said she will use her life experiences — in private business, as a mother of six and as an active conservative — to work for the people in the 4th district.
“I don’t come from government. Instead, I will bring a unique set of experiences and skills to representing the people of our area,” said Gaines. “I’ve worked in independent businesses, raised a family and been active in local charities and conservative causes.”
Beth Gaines is a marketing consultant for the family business, Point West Insurance Associates. Her prior business experience includes sales and marketing for a medical supply company and management experience at the local branch of a national workforce employment firm. She has also served as a teacher for Placer County preschoolers.
Long active in the local community, Gaines has served as a volunteer for numerous charities and groups, including the Child Abuse Prevention Council, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and Acres of Hope. Beth Gaines loves the outdoors and the recreational opportunities provided in the 4th District. She learned to hunt at the age of 12 and enjoys, along with her family, both snow skiing and water skiing. Her husband is State Senator Ted Gaines. The Gaines family lives in Roseville.
This paves the way for Beth Gaines to run for AD-04.
Ted Gaines Wins Senate District 1 Special Election
ROSEVILLE, CA – - Republican Assemblyman and business owner Ted Gaines swept to victory in the First Senate District Special Election yesterday, winning over 63% of the vote in the two-person run-off race. Gaines will be sworn-in to the Senate at 9:00 AM on Thursday morning.
“I am humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support I received from the voters in the First Senate District,” said Gaines. “It is an honor to represent the area my family first settled in over 150 years ago, and to do so at such a crucial time in our state’s history.”
The Special Election was caused by the untimely death of State Senator Dave Cox in July of 2010. California law required a special election to fill the seat. The vast majority of voters who participated in yesterday’s election did so by absentee ballot.
“These special elections are a financial burden on counties,” said Gaines. “I plan to introduce legislation to allow counties to conduct Special Elections entirely through the mail, eliminating the need to open polling places and find and pay poll workers for every special election.”
Apparently, when Mr. Campbell is between medications, he belives that Aaron and I are creating websites and sending out anonymous emails that are all about him.
It’s a shame that Former Placer County Republican Party Chair Ken Campbell has succumbed to delusion and has resorted to bald face lies. It is as if Campbell has had a reverse Damascus Road experience. (There is a well-known Biblical story where an atheist killer of Christians called Saul was blinded by God and became Paul the apostle)
Mr Campbell of course is a vocal Christian, active in many Christ centered charities and was or currently is on the board of Adventure Church in Roseville. I guess he believes that his Christian faith should only be exercised on a situational basis.
He even told me in a personal email reply that Christ himself is channeled through him to drive the money changers (in this case Aaron) out of the temple (or in this case, the Placer County Republican Party).
The flames of Campbell’s huburis are astounding:

(Please end this thread)
“Yes, definitely my response is Christ honoring… remember how Jesus was so angry as he drove the money changers out of the Temple. Well I am following Christ and doing the same.”
“And come on, you are as paranoid and delusional as Aaron, I have no candidate. I am interested in the conservative movement, and I wish you guys would stop trying to divide the conservative movement.”
Dividing the Conservative Movement? Read Mr. Campbell’s latest blog post.
Again – Mr. Campbell Bald-Faced Lied and was corrected by Karen England of all people. He accused me of threatening to beat her up – she corrected him in the comments, but he let the lies stand in his post.
In addition – he attributed an email to us without offering proof - I am wondering if the “Evidence” Campbell is preparing is as half-baked as his initial post. You can see from the above that Ken Campbell really did write that he is taking the place of Jesus in his jihad against my Brother.
And Finally, Ken claims to want the unity of the Conservative Movement – but he is routinely quoted in his college buddy’s newspaper trashing the local party and writes blogs that suggest the polar opposite of unity.
There is one thing for certain – Tom McClintock IS watching Ken Campbell, as are a ton of bewildered people as his hatred has completely consumed him – so much so that his fellow CRI Board Member Karen England is distancing herself from him.
Are Ken Campbell’s actions really those of a follower of Christ?
